Website Design Concept

Stuart Plumbing & Heating

Built around a 30-minute arrival window instead of the usual four-hour wait, this concept presents a family-owned plumbing and heating firm in Surrey.

Stuart Plumbing & Heating website concept homepage

This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Stuart Plumbing & Heating. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Stuart Plumbing & Heating.

At a Glance

Our concept for Stuart Plumbing & Heating treats the customer's time as the main selling point. The family-owned company has served Vancouver, Surrey and the Fraser Valley since 2016, and the hero states its arrival window and senior discount close to the headline. Twelve services sit in a compact grid, a numbered section explains what makes the team different, and the page ends with bath and kitchen supplier showrooms.

The Brief

Nobody wants to lose a morning waiting for a plumber. This design needed to turn a short arrival window and tidy work into the reason to choose this family-run team.

  • State the 30-minute arrival window and the senior discount in the hero, close to the headline.
  • Cover plumbing, heating and cooling together, from furnaces and heat pumps to sump pumps and fireplaces.
  • Explain the Stuart Difference in three numbered promises that are easy to remember.
  • Point renovating homeowners to supplier showrooms for bath and kitchen fixtures.

What We Designed

Phone, email and weekday hours run along a narrow bar at the top. In the hero, a small Licensed & WCB Covered label sits above the headline, Your Trusted Plumbing & Heating Team in Surrey, set in white against a darker backdrop, with buttons for a free estimate and the services. A row of figures covers reviews, arrival time and the senior discount, and one customer review card adds proof.

Instrument Serif gives the headlines a classic, editorial character that suits a family business, and DM Sans keeps the service grid and contact details easy to read. Beyond the hero, warm cream sections and slate navy text keep the page light, with copper orange kept for buttons. The Stuart Difference numbers its three promises, so each one reads as a commitment rather than a slogan.

Arrival window

A 30-minute window, set on the page against the four-hour wait that is common elsewhere.

Twelve-service grid

Plumbing, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning, gas fitting, fireplaces, sump pumps and commercial work, each with a short label.

Senior discount

A discount for customers aged 60 and over, presented as a standing promise on every job.

Supplier showrooms

Three bath and kitchen showrooms listed at the end of the page for homeowners choosing fixtures.

How We Achieved It

The arrival promise is repeated where it counts: in the figures under the headline, in the trust strip that follows, and as the first of the three numbered promises. The navigation stays plain, with Home, Services, About, Reviews and Contact, and the phone number takes the button slot at the end of the menu, which makes calling the obvious action.

Two strengths of call to action run through the page: a free estimate for planned work and a direct call for anything urgent. The Ready to Get Started? section repeats both, and the footer adds the address, phone and quick links. The showrooms come last on purpose, giving renovation customers a practical next step even when they are not ready to book.
