Backyard bunkies
Custom retreats and guest spaces, our own design.
Backyard bunkies built as retreats, guest rooms, and quiet spaces of their own. Each one is our own design, shaped around your property and the way you want to use it.
About this work
A small building, built properly.
A bunkie is a compact structure, but it still deserves a real frame and finishes that hold up. We design and build each one from the ground up, from layout and framing through to the details that make it comfortable to use. The result is a guest space or retreat that fits the yard it stands in and lasts well beyond a season or two.
