Website Design Concept
Navpoint Garage Doors
This concept treats the garage door as part of the house, and speaks to homeowners with a snapped spring and builders fitting out whole complexes alike.
This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Navpoint Garage Doors. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Navpoint Garage Doors.
At a Glance
Navpoint Garage Doors installs, repairs and services residential and commercial doors across Surrey and the Lower Mainland. Our concept presents the business the way a good spec sheet would: six numbered services, a profile built on twenty years on the tools, six named door collections, a section on warranties and a contact form that sorts enquiries by property and service. The headline argues that the right door finishes the house.

The Brief
Garage door customers range from a homeowner with a snapped spring to a builder fitting out a thirty-nine unit complex. Our concept had to serve both, and to present doors as a finishing choice for the home rather than a commodity.
- Give urgent repairs and new installations equal weight, from same-day spring fixes to complete developments.
- Name the door collections outright, so homeowners can start comparing styles from the page itself.
- Put the dealer and installer credentials up front, together with the warranties that come with them.
- Sort enquiries by property type and service, so residential and commercial requests are easy to tell apart.
What We Designed
Light and architectural, the opening sets the headline, Garage doors that finish the house, in dark charcoal on a warm stone ground above a free estimate button and a call button. A specification strip follows, pairing short labels with brief notes on the Clopay dealer status, LiftMaster opener certification, twenty years on the tools, residential and commercial work, and Monday to Saturday service. The six services are numbered 01 to 06, like callouts on a drawing.
Archivo for headings, IBM Plex Sans for text and IBM Plex Mono as a monospaced accent give the page the feel of a well-made product specification. Bronze accents against stone and charcoal echo door hardware and finishes. The copy stays confident and specific, with headings such as Twenty years of doors that still open like the day they went in. After the services come the company profile, the collections fitted every week, the warranties behind the products, comments from homeowners and builders, and the contact form.
Numbered services
Installation, repair, maintenance, same-day service, custom doors and design help, numbered 01 to 06 with a line or two each.
Named door collections
Six collections appear by name, from Avante AX and Modern Steel to Canyon Ridge, Bridgeport, the Gallery Collection and Commercial 524.
Warranty section
A section headed Products with warranties worth standing behind sets the product side apart from the service list.
Sorted enquiry form
Property and service dropdowns sit alongside name, phone, email and a message, with spam protection built in.
How We Achieved It
Set in capitals, the navigation lists services, about, gallery and contact, then the phone number. The same-day promise shows up early and often: under the headline as residential service Monday to Saturday, and again as its own numbered service for a stuck door, a snapped spring or a car trapped inside. Someone with an emergency sees it before reaching the first section heading.
The contact section is headed Tell us about your door, and the form beneath it stays short. Dropdowns for property and service let a builder flag a commercial job or a homeowner flag a repair without writing a paragraph, while spam protection filters out bots. An embedded map, a skip link for keyboard users and a meta description naming the dealer credentials and the service area complete the picture.
